Community initiatives

Mt Ommaney Centre is passionate about the community in which we operate and is committed to implementing programs which help our local community.

In 2009 we have:

Supported our local schools through the 20+20=Tree promotion which saw $15,000 donated to local schools and over 600 trees planted in the local area.

Supported the CREATE foundation through the 2for$5 promotion which saw our community donate over 3000 items to assist CREATE in their work to support kids and young people in state care.

Sponsored the Centenary Rocks Festival.

Supported our local schools within the CLASS group through a joint reusable bag fundraising drive.

In 2010 we have:

Supported our local schools through the 20+20=Tree promotion which saw $20,000 donated to local schools and over 1,000 trees planted in the local area.

Supported various local community groups and charities through our Charity Christmas Gift Wrapping.

In 2011 we have:

Supported the local community through a free BBQ during the January floods, allowing flood affected locals some relief.

Supported the local childcare centres through a Toy Drive in conjunction with Riverside Plaza, which saw over 5,000 toys distributed to local flood affected childcare centres in the local area.

Supported local schools through the 20+20=Tree promotion which saw $18,000 donated to local schools and over 900 trees to plant in the local area.
